Platte Land Trust is an all volunteer, local organization. We are passionate about protecting the land loved by people and communities, places that benefit all of us. We’d love to have you join us.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Habitat Restoration  – building trails, clearing invasive plants, documenting resources, caring for restored areas

Land conservation and nature education outreach – Family Time Outdoors, native plant sale

Special events – planning and coordinating: annual member & friends event, social hours, workshops and fundraising events

Action Teams/Committees –  communications, land acquisition, land stewardship, community outreach & events, finance

Board of Directors – help run our all-volunteer organization; 11 Board meetings per year; serve on Action Teams/Committees; advocate for land protection; gain nonprofit and leadership experience; participate in land stewardship, programs, and special events.
