Platte Land Trust is an all volunteer, local organization. We are passionate about protecting the land loved by people and communities, places that benefit all of us. We’d love to have you join us.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Habitat Restoration  – trail maintenance, removing invasive plants, documenting resources, caring for restored areas, prescribed burns

Land conservation and nature education outreach –  tabling at local events; assisting with native plant sale; develop and lead a nature or outdoor skill program at CSNA such as Scout badges

Special events – planning and coordinating: annual member & friends event, social hours, workshops and fundraising events

Communications –  photos and videos of protected lands and PLT events; articles for e-newsletters; promotional materials.

Board of Directors – help run our all-volunteer organization; 11 Board meetings per year; serve on Action Teams/Committees; advocate for land protection; gain nonprofit and leadership experience; participate in land stewardship, programs, and special events.
