Platte Land Trust is an all volunteer, local organization. We are passionate about protecting the land loved by people and communities, places that benefit all of us. We’d love to have you join us.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Board of Directors – help run our all-volunteer organization; 10 Board meetings per year; serve on Action Teams; advocate for PLT; participate in land stewardship, programs, and special events.

Land stewardship – outside, building trails, clearing invasive plants, documenting resources, caring for gardens and restored areas

Partner with Nature program – visiting with people in their yards, knowledge of native plants is helpful, Master Gardener a bonus

Land conservation and nature education outreach – Wings Over Weston, native plant sales

Special events – planning, hosting, making it happen; annual dinner, social hours, fundraising events

Administrative – records, newsletters, member and volunteer communications
